Friendly enough and price wasn't bad, but when I asked if he could provide a current cert of liability insurance he... said "I've got other jobs I can be doing, I'll pass", and hung up. Hm.Follow up! Seems someone's feeling defensive!? Happily posting the pic of door... brand new, 182 lbs, packed in styrofoam and expansion foam. Yes, I want it protected. Perhaps you could post a pic of your current insur cert (you told me it was dated a few years ago).No worries, wonderful movers got everything upstairs, safely, professionally, this morning!read more

Round 3 of my family using this company in recent weeks. We’ve used them to move my mother from our home do a... retirement community earlier this year. In the last several weeks, we’ve used them three times to move furniture around our home and to a storage unit during our home remodel twice and once to move our daughter into a new apartment. And we aren’t done yet because we’ll be using them again to put everything back together after our remodel.They are terrific! Timely, super efficient, professional and just down right nice. I would not have any reason to consider any other company. As I said in one of my previous reviews following a former move we used them for…I’d reschedule my move before using anyone else. (Although, I haven’t had to do that because they have come through each time that we’ve used them.).Bravo to Small Move Same Day Fort Worth! Every business should be run like this one. If I can give this small business zero stars I would. They are absolutely unprofessional. They scream and yell at you... throughout the entire process on the phone. While trying to confirm the move for the next day I get a cancellation call for the move. His excuse was that his driver got in to trouble with the law the night before. I had to be out of my apt the following morning. Extremely rude and unprofessional. DO NOT USE !!! So much for supporting small businesses.read more

I needed a moving company ASAP. I called a few & of course they didn’t have availability or they were outrageously... priced. I called & spoke with Richard & advised him of what I needed, provided him pics, & he got right back to me with a reasonable price. He got me in touch with Larry who would do the actual move & he & im not sure of the other guys name, but they took care of me & we’re both so nice & respectful. They moved my items to a storage facility & I didn’t get the chance to tell them that I’d be calling for them to move me into my new place once it’s ready. Great job, I’d highly recommend!!!read more

Dealing with a last-minute move is usually not a good experience, but I'm eating those words with this company.They... communicated well when delayed due to a service vehicle delay and arrived earlier than estimated.The workers were polite, very business-like, courteous, and hard-working.In speaking with the owner for the scheduling, it was business yet friendly with a personal touch.This company is now on my contact list as the go-to movers for me. I felt I received excellent customer service and value for my money.And my hats off to the two young men that did all the work...it was great talking with them and seeing them do their job with pride and professionalism. This is the second time I've used Same Day Small Movers. The first time i had them move my washer and dryer to my new... house, and this time they moved a huge 8ftx6ft tv console. This company helped me on such short notice. It was after 5 pm and I had a 16 ft. storage pod in my driveway that... needed to be unloaded before morning I called this company. They were very kind, professional and had the pod unloaded in a few hours being careful not to damage anything. I will be calling them again in a few weeks. I used Same Day Small Movers yesterday on May 14th, 2021. I was in a bind, and needed movers within 24 hours. I spoke... with the owner who said it would be no problem. I also mentioned that I was driving 13 hours to Dallas and wasn't exactly sure when I would arrive. I was assured they were flexible, just to keep them posted on my arrival. I arrived about 10 hours early. The two movers arrived within 2 hours. They were professional, respectful, and took care of my things like they were their own. They broke the glass inlay of my dresser during a local move and I’m still waiting for the glass to be repaired. It’s... been 6 weeks so I’m guessing it’s not being fixed or repaired. No communication either. And the worse part is they took the other inlay that wasn’t broken so they could match it so now I’m missing the entire top of dresser. Anthony, Joe, and Carlo were AMAZING movers and Richard had a quick response time to all my questions. I had a small... move (my bed, couch, bookshelf and a few other items too big to fit in my car) to my apartment. They worked quickly and efficiently to not only move my items but also disassembled and reassembled my bed in record time. They even tightened up some screws in my bookshelf to make it more sturdy. They were very personable and fun to talk to during the process. Also they were very affordable. I saved over $400 from what I was quoted from previous moving companies. I called for a quote and when I told him if I can give him a call back because I was checking estimates then he said... "How about I just pass on it" and hung up. I was so amazed by the workers and staff of this company. I called late on a Saturday evening for an antique piece of... furniture I had bought that day. It was too heavy for me to move by myself and I called to arrange for pick up. They answered on the first ring! And they accommodated me on the next day, and I got my piece that Sunday afternoon delivered in my house.The young men and their lead man that came were all very nice and friendly. They took great care with my antique piece and even stopped and pointed out some spider webs on the bottom of my furniture so I could sweep them away before they brought it inside.I can't say enough how much I was impressed by them every step of the process and how well they communicated with me and kept me up to date on the status. Showed up during their arrival window and communicated with me leading up to that point. Friendly and courteous service as well as very fair flat rate pricing.
